A Syrian parliament member owes Iran $30 billion in debt

A member of the Syrian Parliament owes Iran 30 billion dollars.

The former head of the National Security Commission of the Parliament says that Syria owes Iran 30 billion dollars, and I hope that the fate of this debt will be determined during Ibrahim Raisi’s trip to Damascus on Thursday.

Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh said in an interview with Tajarate News on Tuesday, April 21, that Russia has received its debt from Syria, but Iran has not.

According to him, the Syrian government is being unfaithful in repaying the expenses that Iran has incurred in this country. Iran has incurred significant expenses in Syria and Iraq in military and political areas, but after these countries achieve relative peace, Iran’s economic goals are not met.
