1500 Attackers Arrested in Brazil Congress Attack

1500 attackers of the supporters of Jair Bolsonaro, the former president of Brazil, were arrested during the attack on the Congress and the Presidential Palace of the country, according to the Supreme Court of Brazil.

Following the attack by the supporters of Jair Bolsonaro on the Congress and the Presidential Palace, the Supreme Court of Brazil has arrested nearly 1500 individuals involved in this assault.

The attack took place one week after the inauguration of Luiz Inácio Silva as the new president of Brazil.

Silva has referred to this assault as terrorist attacks and has promised to punish the perpetrators.

Bolsonaro, who did not accept his defeat in the elections, left the country for the United States before the transfer of power, and he was hospitalized in Florida on Tuesday due to stomach pain. The new president of Brazil and the heads of Congress and the Supreme Court have described this assault as terrorist and criminal attacks, and an attempt to coup and sabotage.
