Approval of 50% Increase in Medical Fees for the New Year

A 50% increase in medical tariffs for the new year has been approved.

The Deputy for Technical and Supervisory Affairs of the Medical Council announced the approval and determination of the rates of health care services tariffs in 1403 in the first meeting of the Cabinet in the new year.

Dr. Reza Laripour, referring to the decision of the Supreme Insurance Council regarding a 46% growth in medical tariffs in 1403, which needed final approval by the Cabinet, stated that although the tariffs did not reach the Cabinet before the start of the new year, this year, with the follow-ups of the head of the Medical Council and the cooperation of the Ministry of Health, the new tariff rates were approved in the first meeting of the Council of Ministers, earlier than last year.

Laripour continued, stating that the official visit rate has increased, and based on the sum of the tariffs, it will be close to a 50% increase. Additionally, it is predicted that the technical and professional fees, apart from the global sum, will see an increase of around 40%, so that healthcare centers in 1403 can continue to operate with these minimum tariff rates.
