Faizeh Abedipour sentenced to 7 years in prison

Faizeh Abedipour, a former trade union activist at Allameh University and a graduate student in International Relations at Mazandaran University, has been sentenced to a total of 7 years in prison. This includes 4 years for seduction and incitement to murder and war against national security, 1 year for propaganda against the regime in the Revolutionary Court, and 2 years for spreading falsehoods and a fine of 2 million Tomans in the Criminal Court.

Faizeh Abedipour was abducted from her home in Gorgan on December 1st, 2022, and had previously been arrested in September 2017.

The Revolutionary Court issued its verdict on December 10th, the Criminal Court on December 13th, and both verdicts were communicated to her lawyer, Mr. Haji Mashhadi, on December 15th.
