9 people injured in Russian drone attacks on Ukraine

In the Russian drone attacks on Ukraine, 9 people were injured.

Reuters news agency reported on Tuesday, April 23, citing military officials, that in a Russian drone attack on the port of Odessa in the Black Sea, 9 people were injured, four of whom were children. Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, was also targeted again by Russian attacks.

Oleh Kipper, the governor of the Odessa region, wrote on the Telegram messaging app that the injured children included two infants. Additionally, three injured adults are hospitalized. According to him, several residential buildings in the city have been damaged and caught fire. The city administration has reported at least 14 damaged apartments.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia has launched a total of 16 offensive drones and two short-range ballistic missiles, Scud, towards these cities. Ukraine claims that its air defense systems have managed to destroy 15 drones over the southern areas of Odessa and Mykolaiv in the central Cherkasy region and Kyiv.
