Abassi, a member of the parliament, states that air pollution is caused by the consumption of diesel in power plants

Abassi, a member of parliament, says that the air pollution is caused by the diesel fuel used in power plants.

Alireza Abassi, a member of the Agricultural Commission of the parliament, said that he wants to mention that the diesel fuel currently used in power plants is not very standardized. We can say that it is equivalent to Mazut (a type of heavy fuel oil), and sometimes its sulfur content is several times higher than the standard limit.

Therefore, maybe it is not really the Mazut combustion that they claim, but the diesel fuel or the fuel currently being used does not meet the necessary standards and almost does the same job as Mazut.
