Ali Motahari: Ignoring the system is an illusion, we should seek reform

Ali Motahari believes that bypassing the system is just an illusion; we should strive for reform.

Ali Motahari stated that he had no party affiliation and was not very eager to participate in these elections. He even had no intention of running for candidacy, but due to insistence, he became a candidate. Initially, I thought I would be disqualified, and I also have this message for the people that I wanted to participate, but the opportunity did not arise.

He added that we must definitely participate in the elections. We are in special circumstances. I do not agree with those who say that by not participating in the elections, we can convey our message to the system and reform the system in this way.

A candidate for the parliamentary elections said we should not abandon the revolution, which has not easily come to fruition. Those who say we should sideline this system and establish another system, such statements are all illusions. Overthrowing a system is not that simple, it is not that easy to change the system. We should strive for reforming the system. We should not escape from elections and candidacy.
