The United States is reviewing Hamas’ response to the ceasefire proposal.

According to the French news agency, the United States announced on Tuesday, May 7th, that it is reviewing Hamas’ response to the ceasefire proposal in Gaza. The US also stated that it has asked Israel not to attack Rafah.

Matthew Miller, a spokesperson for the US State Department, said, ‘I can confirm that Hamas has responded to the ceasefire proposal in Gaza. We are currently reviewing this response and discussing it with our regional allies.’
