The CEO of the Municipal Children Workers Services Organization mentioned that foreign child laborers are crossing the border.
The CEO of the Municipal Social Services and Participation Organization of Tehran stated that child laborers are categorized into two groups – Iranian families and foreign nationals, and based on the planning, foreign child laborers are crossing the border with the assistance of the relevant authorities.
Ahmad Ahmadi Sadr, the CEO of the Municipal Social Services and Participation Organization of Tehran, referring to the completion of the supplementary social organization plan held in the capital for two weeks under the order of the Tehran Mayor, expressed that this plan aimed to organize social issues including drug addicts, street children, waste pickers, and city beggars.
He added that this plan was carried out by the Social and Cultural Deputy of 22 districts and 124 neighborhoods of Tehran Municipality, as well as the deputies of district affairs and urban services.
Ahmadi Sadr continued by stating that organized child laborers are categorized into two groups – Iranian families and foreign nationals. Those with families are handed over to their parents, and a commitment is taken from them that if they engage in street activities again, they will be dealt with legally.
The CEO of the Organization for Social Services and Participation of Tehran Municipality stated that the social center provides all facilities for the collected immigrants to facilitate their integration and then refers them to the relevant department to take necessary actions for their integration.
