Do not engage in combat with people for speaking, Moulavi Abdulhamid

Do not prosecute people for speaking out, Molavi Abdolhamid says.

Molavi Abdolhamid, the Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, reacted to the death sentence of Toomaj Salehi during the Friday prayer on the seventh of Ordibehesht.

He stated that Toomaj Salehi is a poet and artist who has spoken his mind, and added, ‘Do not prosecute people for speaking out and do not kill them.’

The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan criticized the issuance and execution of death sentences in Iran, calling the executions carried out in the past 1400 years unprecedented, and urged the people to demand a halt to the executions.
