French President Emmanuel Macron says European leaders gathered in Paris have agreed to boost Ukraine’s budget in its fight against Russia.
He described Russia’s defeat as vital for peace and stability in Europe.
Mr. Macron said the country leaders have agreed to do whatever is necessary to support Kyiv.
He said immediate priorities for supporting Ukraine include providing more supplies and long-range missiles.
Members at this meeting did not reach an agreement on sending Western forces into conflicts, but Mr. Macron said this possibility is not ruled out.
