Former officials of a football club in Kerman province are under investigation for corruption by the Kerman Judiciary.
The Chief Justice of Kerman Province announced the formation of a case regarding financial corruption allegations in one of the football clubs in Kerman province.
On the evening of May 14, Ibrahim Hamidi elaborated on the details of this news, stating that following a report from the Intelligence Organization of the Sepah in the province regarding financial corruption in one of the premier league clubs in Kerman province, immediate action was taken by the judicial authorities.
The Chief Justice of Kerman Province added that several former officials of this club are under judicial pursuit, and further investigations are ongoing in this regard.
He stated that the violations occurred in the year 2021 and before that, with cases being formed in the judicial system of Kerman province last winter.
Finally, he mentioned that on Saturday, May 12, five individuals from the referee committee and members of the Football Federation, as well as a sports journalist, have been summoned to provide explanations to the judicial authorities of Kerman province.
