Germany summons Iranian ambassador
The German Foreign Ministry on Thursday summoned the Iranian ambassador, reiterating its accusations regarding the involvement of Iranian entities in the attack on synagogues in the city of Bochum in 2022.
The German Foreign Ministry announced on its social media account Twitter that it has summoned the Iranian ambassador after receiving a written notice regarding the verdict of the suspect involved in the attack on synagogues in the city of Bochum in 2022.
The German Foreign Ministry added that they have now shared this verdict with their other partners and European entities and will conduct necessary investigations regarding the next steps.
An Iranian-German individual was sentenced to 2 years and 9 months in prison in December last year on charges of attacking synagogues in the city of Bochum in 2022.
Germany had previously summoned an Iranian official in December in connection with this incident.
