International Atomic Energy Agency Expresses Concern over the Possibility of Israel Attacking Iran's Nuclear Facilities

The International Atomic Energy Agency expressed concern about the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency expressed concern about the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, but at the same time stated that the agency’s inspections of Iran’s facilities will resume on Wednesday. Mr. Grossi said that Iran shut down its nuclear facilities on Monday for security reasons, but even though these facilities reopened on Tuesday, agency inspectors were kept away from Iran’s nuclear facilities until conditions were completely calm. Mr. Grossi, in response to a reporter in New York asking him if he is concerned about Israeli attacks on Tehran’s nuclear facilities, said that this concern has always existed, but nevertheless announced that the International Atomic Energy Agency’s inspections of Iran’s facilities will resume from Wednesday. Mr. Grossi told reporters in New York that we will resume work on Wednesday and this has not affected our inspection activities.
