Iran's Ministry of Sports protests against the activities of Iranian female artists

The Ministry of Sports in Iran protested against the activities of Iranian female artists.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth announced Iran’s protest against the organizing committee of the Asian Cup due to the involvement of Iranian female artists in the competition.

The Baharband group had a similar performance in the 2022 World Cup.

Ali Ahadi, the Director General of Culture at the Ministry of Sports, said that the activities of this group were neither authorized by the Football Federation nor approved by the Ministry of Sports, and we officially and in writing expressed our protest to the organizing committee without any coordination, and after that, this group had no activity.

The Fars News Agency criticized the rhythmic movements of the Baharband group and the performance between the two halves of the Iranian match, stating that despite the presence of various cultural groups in Qatar, we have witnessed a violation of norms in front of officials’ eyes, who have taken no action, and now the Ministry and the Federation have just started to take action and remember to protest.
