Judiciary Power, Kazem Sadeghi and his sons returned the land of Golestan to the seminary

The judiciary, led by Kazem Sadiqi, returned a piece of land in Azgol to the seminary.

After weeks of controversy over the seizure of a 4200-square-meter land by Kazem Sadiqi, the interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran, the judiciary spokesperson claimed that on 29 March 2024, the land transfer deal in Azgol was annulled, and the institution of the Followers of Imam’s Thoughts, owned by Sadiqi and his sons, officially returned this land to the Khomeini seminary.

Annulment is a legal term that means canceling a contract with the consent of both parties.

Masoud Setayeshi provided these explanations in his latest press conference on Tuesday, 9 April, and also announced his resignation from the judiciary spokesperson position.

Yashar Soltani, a journalist, published documents on 14 March, according to which Kazem Sadiqi, the interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran, had taken over a garden measuring four thousand and two hundred square meters in the Azgol area of Tehran.
