Matin Hosseini summoned for executing the judgment of eye injury victims protests

Matin Hassani, one of the victims of the November 2019 protests, has been summoned to serve his prison sentence.

Matin Hassani, one of the victims of the November 2019 protests, has announced his summons to serve the imprisonment sentence.

He has posted a picture of his summons on his Instagram account for the execution of the sentence and mentioned that despite all the follow-ups that have been done for him, he finally has to surrender himself after these few days that have been allocated to him. It’s tough to be imprisoned with the eye condition that requires treatment and care to prevent infection, but we are stronger than they think.

He had previously stated that he was detained on February 21 for participating in the protests for women’s freedom and was released on bail of one billion tomans after a month in prison to go through the legal proceedings of his trial.

The revolutionary court of Bukan has sentenced Mr. Hassani to 31 months in prison, including 26 months suspended and 6 months imprisonment, on charges of propaganda against the regime and inciting people to war and killing each other.
