Molavi Abdolhamid criticizes the suspension of university professors

Molavi Abdulhamid criticized the suspension of university professors.

Molavi Abdulhamid, the Sunni Friday Prayer leader of Zahedan, criticized the dismissal or suspension of university professors in Iran in a tweet he posted on Twitter.

He wrote that the removal or suspension of some university professors is concerning and an attack on the scientific foundations of the country.

He further stated that the consequences of such unmeasured actions will lead our society to face problems in various fields. Political disagreements should not result in trespassing on the sanctity of knowledge and science or playing with the future of this land.

In the months following the anti-government protests in Iran, reports have been published about the expulsion or suspension of university professors due to their support for or protest against the protesting students.
