Sadegh and Samghie have lost their eyesight in prison and are facing a heart problem

Sadegheh Wesmaqi has lost her eyesight in prison and is facing a heart problem.

Sadegheh Wesmaqi’s lawyer, Eslam Pejouh, expressed hope that his client will be released from prison next week.

Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabaei, a judicial attorney, in an interview with Shargh Network, referred to the news about Sadegheh Wesmaqi losing her eyesight due to her presence in prison, stating that her eyesight was completely lost before prison and this issue is unrelated to the prison.

He continued, ‘Due to this issue, we have requested a non-custodial sentence, which the forensic medicine has agreed to, and we are awaiting the prosecutor’s opinion.’

Sadegheh Wesmaqi’s spouse says that her current situation as a political prisoner in prison is not suitable, and she is not only facing the loss of eyesight but also high heart rate and blood pressure.

Alizadeh Tabatabaei emphasized that according to the prosecutor’s law, they should agree to Wesmaqi’s release due to the inability to endure the sentence, saying, ‘The sentence was 4 months, and we accepted the verdict, reducing it by 24 days.’
