Suspicious death of a 15-year-old Afghan girl in Germany

German police say they have found the body of a 15-year-old Afghan girl next to the Rhine River in the city of Wiesbaden. The police say the girl drowned in the water, but the parents of the 15-year-old girl are in custody for further investigation.

Mainz police in Germany say the 39-year-old father and 34-year-old mother of this girl are being held in separate detention centers. According to the police, this 15-year-old girl used to live with her mother before the incident, and the family’s father was in a different address.

It is still unclear why this girl lost her life, but initial police investigations suggest that she drowned in the river. However, further police investigations are ongoing in this regard. The police say it is possible that the parents committed such a crime because they were not satisfied with their daughter’s lifestyle. The father had temporary residence and the mother had permanent residence in Germany.
