In the last session of dealing with the accusations, I made a mistake. I have no defense.
In the last session of dealing with his accusations, Amirhossein Maghsoudlou, known as Tataloo, appeared before Judge Afshari in Branch 26 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court.
The prosecutor addressed the accused, saying that most of your audience were young people and adolescents who were influenced by the drugs you were using and promoting.
The accused replied, ‘I did not intend to promote drugs. I wanted to introduce herbal alternatives to those addicted to alcohol and drugs to minimize harm, which was a mistake, and I accept my mistake.’
Tataloo then responded to the prosecutor’s question about why your Instagram page was closed, saying that he was invited to make a video for one of his songs by 15 to 20-year-old girls in an Instagram story, which European law interpreted as child exploitation and led to the closure of the page.
In his defense, the accused once again stated that he had made mistakes and many of his behaviors were wrong. He apologized for the mistakes he had made.
Judge Afshari addressed the defendant, saying, ‘What guarantee do you have that your mistakes will not be repeated? You have expressed regret in the past but continued with your actions.’
The defendant replied, ‘I did not receive proper training and made a mistake.’
Lawyer Tetluo stated about advertising betting websites on behalf of his client, ‘After advertising the betting website, when the defendant realizes that people are harmed by this path, he immediately changes his position.’
At the end, the lawyer requested the judge to issue a fair and legal verdict regarding his client.
