The advisor to the Speaker of the Tenth Parliament, Mr. Larijani, has neither a list nor forms a coalition with anyone.
The advisor to Larijani said that Mr. Larijani does not have a list, nor is he expected to support any list or form a coalition with anyone.
Mansour Haghighatpour, former representative of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and advisor to Ali Larijani, referring to rumors about Larijani’s list for the parliamentary elections, said that I have no information about the subject you mentioned, and Mr. Larijani does not have a list, nor is he expected to support any list or form a coalition with anyone.
He added, however, that Mr. Motahari is a relative of Mr. Larijani, and in other words, any action he takes is attributed to Mr. Larijani.
He continued, saying that this is a populist analysis where you attribute any actions performed by a relative to an individual’s name.
He added that Mr. Motahari has entered and he has the right to express his opinion and provide a list, and this is his personal will, and he does not have a party. However, for a long time, there has been something called ‘Seda-ye Mardom’ (Voice of the Nation) attributed to him, under which he participated in previous elections.
Larijani’s advisor stated that I feel that they have included my name in the list out of kindness and respect, but we do not have any political affiliation or connection with each other. We used to work together and were friends, but we do not have any political involvement.
Haghighatpour concluded by saying that I don’t think there is a closed list for Mr. Motahari, and I don’t think the reformists have a list in Tehran unless their people have changed their constituencies from other cities to Tehran until then a list will take shape.
