The European Union has imposed sanctions on several foreign companies.
The European Union announced on Friday that it has placed several foreign companies on a new sanction list on charges of exporting dual-use goods to Russia that could be used in the country’s war against Ukraine.
The Union stated in its statement that some manufacturers of electronic components believed by the European Union to have military and non-military applications, including 27 entities, were accused of directly supporting Russia’s military and industrial activities in its aggressive war against Ukraine.
These companies, some of which are based in India, Sri Lanka, China, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, and Turkey, will face stricter export restrictions.
The names of these companies will be made public in the coming days and after being published in the official EU gazette.
