French President mentioned the option of sending troops to Ukraine in case of Russian advance and at the request of Kiev is not ruled out.

Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, once again talked about the possible option of sending troops from his country to Ukraine on Friday.

The French President emphasized in an interview with The Economist that he does not rule out the deployment of his country’s military forces to Ukraine. Emmanuel Macron’s statements are important considering France’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

A few months ago, he mentioned for the first time the possible option of sending troops to Ukraine, statements that were met with a sharp reaction from Moscow.
