A member of the city council said Zakani has received a mandate from Raisi regarding air pollution.

A member of the Tehran city council said the mayor of Tehran has verbally stated twice that he has received a mandate from the president concerning the capital’s air pollution.

On December 20th, Mehdi Chamran responded to a question about whether the mayor of Tehran has received a mandate from the president to address air pollution, saying the mayor has not received such a mandate, and the Minister of the Interior is following up on the issue.

Meanwhile, Nasser Amani said the mayor of Tehran has announced twice that he has received a mandate from the president regarding the capital’s air pollution.
