Abbas Abdi's participation in the elections in Tehran will be less than 15%

Abbas Abdi predicts that the participation rate in the elections in Tehran will be below 15%.

Abbas Abdi wrote in Etemad newspaper that I guess with these results, the participation rate in Tehran, and not just Tehran but also other major cities in the country, will be below 15%. Although this poll provides a more accurate estimation of people’s voting behavior than our assumptions, everyone knew that the participation situation is not desirable.

Some others have already blamed the faults on the enemy, claiming that they want to discourage people and turn the elections into a referendum against the system. This effort is fruitless because what they call the enemy has always existed and, in fact, was stronger in the past.

In the fourth parliamentary elections, the closed-door supported the right-wing faction to gain control of the parliament. Therefore, the enemy cannot do anything other than what has happened in the past. In the past, we had elections with an approximately 80% participation rate.

The real enemy is our delusion and ignorance about society.
