The actor of the series Squid Game has been sentenced to prison

Yoo Yeon-seok, a popular and well-known South Korean actor in the hit series Squid Game on Netflix, has been sentenced to eight months of suspended prison for sexual harassment by a South Korean court.

At the age of 79, he was accused of two counts of sexual harassment against a woman in 2022.

According to French news agency, this sexual assault occurred five years ago in 2017 when he was residing in a rural area for a theater performance.

Mr. Yoo Yeon-seok has stated that he will seek a review of this sentence.

According to Yonhap news agency in South Korea, it was alleged based on court documents that he hugged a woman and kissed her against her will.
