Ansieh Khazali: The Allegation of Rape Against Female Prisoners is Not True

Ansieh Khazali: Allegations of sexual assault on female prisoners are not true

Ansieh Khazali, the Vice President for Women’s Affairs, along with a delegation, conducted a thorough visit to the prison. I spent some time there talking to each woman individually, and my colleagues also spoke with all the women, receiving their writings and letters, and we are still following up on them.

Such claims regarding sexual assault on women are absolutely not true, and the officials from the Women’s Affairs department spoke with the women privately without anyone else present.

It is natural that the enemy acts in this way in every incident and event that occurs to the Islamic Republic of Iran, trying to create an atmosphere and spread falsehoods and slanders through media movements.
