Arrest of 16 social media activists in Khorasan
The Khorasan Razavi Intelligence Department announced the arrest of 16 individuals involved in social networks in connection with the nationwide uprising.
In the statement, they are accused of spreading fake news, inciting emotions, and encouraging violent behavior, which has disrupted the peace and security of society, caused damage to public property, and posed threats to the lives and finances of the people.
The statement mentioned that the residence of these 16 individuals is both inside and outside the country, and other individuals associated with influential cores will also be identified and dealt with accordingly.
