Beijing's reaction to Biden's labeling Xi Jinping as a dictator is irresponsible

Beijing’s reaction to Biden calling Xi Jinping a dictator is irresponsible.

After Joe Biden, the President of the United States, described his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, as a dictator for the second time, the Chinese Foreign Ministry deemed these statements irresponsible, and the US Secretary of State also commented on this matter.

Mr. Biden, during a press conference on Thursday after his meeting with the Chinese president, stated in response to a question that he still holds the view that Xi is a dictator.

The leaders of the two major economic powers in the world met on Thursday for the first time in a year and discussed reducing tensions between the two global superpowers in various issues, including armed conflicts, artificial intelligence, and drug trafficking.

This is not the first time Biden has referred to Xi as a dictator. In July of this year, the US President called the Chinese President a dictator during a special fundraising event in California, one day after Antony Blinken’s return from Beijing.
