Borrell and dissatisfaction with the suspension in JCPOA talks
Josep Borrell, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, in his latest interview with Agence France-Presse, expressed dissatisfaction with Iran’s latest proposals and requests regarding the JCPOA negotiations. He attributed part of the process that has led to the suspension and halt in the progress of the talks in recent weeks to the political situation in the United States. He considered a significant breakthrough in the coming days unlikely and bitterly stated that there is nothing more to say from his side and the structure under his supervision.
