Breaking the consecutive electricity consumption record of 77,000 megawatts

Maziyar Jamshidi, the manager of operation and control of the country’s power grid, said that yesterday we surpassed the consumption of over 77,000 megawatts, showing an increase of 6,000 megawatts compared to the previous week, which indicates an 8% growth.

He added that the demand for electricity consumption in the cities of Khuzestan, Tehran, Alborz, Bushehr, Shiraz, and Mashhad has been higher than other cities in the country.
