Cancellation of Iran’s Foreign Minister’s trip to India due to an advertisement video

Indian media reported that the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic cancelled his trip to Delhi to participate in a conference hosted by the Indian government due to the presence of two seconds of Iranian women’s hair being cut in an advertisement video for the conference.

According to Etemad Online, an Indian Express newspaper, on Friday, February 17, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister, refrained from attending this gathering after India disregarded Tehran’s request to remove these two seconds from the video.

The governments of Delhi and Tehran have not yet responded to this report.
