Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: Delays in JCPOA Are from the Western Side

The spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the delay in the nuclear deal is from the Western parties.

The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Iran is meeting all the requirements related to the nuclear agreement, and the delay is from the other parties.

Mao Ning, the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Iran is fulfilling all the requirements related to the nuclear agreement and said we are witnessing delays in responses from other parties.

He added that the current negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear file have reached a critical stage.

According to China Daily, this Chinese diplomat said, after Iran stated that the window to revive the nuclear agreement is open but not permanent, that all relevant parties must remain committed to dialogue and negotiation and increase diplomatic efforts to bring the nuclear deal back on track as soon as possible.
