Confirmed: Robert Malley's Deputy Withdraws from Iran Negotiation Team

The news has been confirmed: Robert Malley’s deputy has withdrawn from the negotiation team with Iran.

Ned Price, the spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, has confirmed reports of Jared Blank, Robert Malley’s deputy, stepping down from the U.S. nuclear negotiation team with Iran.

According to Mr. Price, Jared Blank left the negotiation team to return to his primary position at the U.S. Department of Energy.

Mr. Price stated that Mr. Blank has been assigned to the U.S. State Department as a nuclear expert for the past two years, and his mission has now ended.

Previously, Richard Nephew, a prominent U.S. expert on sanctions, had also stepped down from the negotiation team.
