Continuation of the detention and uncertainty of Saeed Elhordi in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz

HARANA News Agency – Despite nearly two months passing since his arrest, Saeed Elhordi, a resident of Shiraz, is still being held in detention and uncertainty in Adel Abad prison in this city. Mr. Elhordi was arrested on November 25 during the nationwide protests in Shiraz.

Despite 59 days having passed since his arrest, Saeed Elhordi is still being held in detention and uncertainty in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz. His sister, Samaneh Elhordi, has announced his situation. Saeed informed us, four weeks after his arrest, of his whereabouts in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz through a brief phone call and requested that we visit him.

After meeting with him, we realized that he had been subjected to physical abuse during his detention. He is currently enduring very unfavorable psychological conditions in detention and uncertainty.
