Cultural heritage of Fars: 10,000 people sat at the Haftseen table in Persepolis.

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism of Fars Province announced the presence of over 10,000 Nowruz guests at the New Year’s ceremony in the global complex of Persepolis.

Mohammad Sabet Aghaei stated that the New Year’s ceremony, except for Persepolis and the Hafezieh cultural complex, was not held at any of the national and global heritage sites. He mentioned that this ceremony was held in the global complex of Persepolis with the attendance of over 10,000 Nowruz guests and visitors, followed by a free visit to this complex for the participants.

He added that the New Year’s ceremony began with the recitation of the Quran and the national anthem, followed by religious and cultural ceremonies, the morning call to prayer, and New Year’s prayers.

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism of Fars reminded that the Haftseen table for Nowruz has also been spread at the entrance of the Apadana Palace in this global complex.
