Exchange offices are authorized to engage in currency exchange transactions.

After a one-month suspension of over-the-counter currency exchange transactions in exchange offices, it has been decided by the Central Bank that buying and selling will resume through the exchange center. Currently, currency is being exchanged over-the-counter at rates close to the free market rate, according to the exchange rates set by exchange offices.
