9,250 residential units were damaged in the Khoy earthquake.

According to the head of the Housing Foundation, Mr. Nikzad, in the 59th Khoy earthquake that occurred on the 8th of Bahman this year, 1,750 residential units were destroyed and in need of reconstruction, and another 7,500 units were damaged and in need of repairs. The government has decided on the amount of facilities and interest-free loans this week, and the result will be announced to the public. Starting today, construction materials such as steel bars, screws, and nuts will be delivered to the units in need of reconstruction, and debris removal will be completed.
