A Law Enforcement Officer Killed in Shahrak-e Gharb, Tehran

Following a clash between police and the occupants of a vehicle in the Shahrak-e Gharb area of Tehran, a law enforcement officer was killed.

According to Tasnim, early Friday morning on November 2, the patrol unit of Shahrak-e Qods police station identified the occupants of a Peugeot Pars vehicle during a theft.

During the chase and confrontation between the thieves and police officers, one of the officers was wounded by gunfire and passed away hours later at Bahman Hospital in Tehran.

The thieves, who possess firearms, have not yet been apprehended.
