The passing of Mehdi Zare Ashkezari: He died due to severe torture after a temporary release.

According to reports, Mehdi Zare Ashkezari was arrested for participating in protests in Iran and went into a coma hours after being temporarily released due to torture. He passed away after 20 days in the hospital.

Reports indicate he suffered facial injuries, and his nose and teeth were broken. It is said that Mr. Ashkezari was an Iranian student studying in Italy, and news of his death has been reported in the media of that country.

He was born in 1991, and it is said that he went to Iran due to his mother’s passing and also participated in the protests in Tehran.

His burial was scheduled to take place on December 31st at Ashkezar Cemetery.
