The deputy of the Cinematic Sales Organization denies the existence of the Cinema Museum in Ferdows Garden.
Following the publication of reports about the possibility of including the Cinema Museum property in Ferdows Garden in the list of surplus government properties in the so-called ‘Generation Plan’, the deputy of the Cinematic Sales Organization has denied selling this museum.
According to ISNA, Asghar Farsi, the deputy of development, management, and resources of the Cinematic Organization, stated that the ownership document of the entire area of this property, including the Cinema Museum and the National Film House of Iran, is in the name of the Cinematic and Audiovisual Organization. Any news or speculation about the sale of these two complexes is completely false and unfounded.
Previously, the Ham-Mihan newspaper had reported the possibility of including Ferdows Garden in the list of properties covered by the ‘Generation Plan’ government asset resolution.
Ferdows Garden is located in Tehran’s first district and is near Tajrish Square, where the Cinema Museum is located.
