Egyptian Foreign Minister Visits Earthquake-Hit Areas in Turkey

The Egyptian Foreign Minister visited earthquake-stricken areas in Turkey.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister met with his Turkish counterpart in the earthquake-stricken region of Adana.

According to ILNA, quoting Anadolu, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in the earthquake-stricken region of Adana on Tuesday.

Cavusoglu welcomed his Egyptian counterpart at the airport in the region, and the two had private meetings.

After the meeting, the Egyptian Foreign Minister stated in a press conference that talks between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will definitely take place in the near future.

The Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Turkey are expected to receive the aid shipment from Egypt for the earthquake-affected people from a ship.
