Emergency Public Relations in Tehran: Record of Emergency Calls Broken

The communication system of Tehran Emergency Services broke down.

According to the Public Relations Manager of Tehran Emergency Services, in the past 24 hours on Thursday, February 25, 2024, 11,043 people from Tehran province contacted the emergency system of Tehran province to receive urgent medical services.

Abolfazl Mahrokht stated that in the past 24 hours on Thursday, February 25, 2024, 11,043 people from Tehran province contacted the emergency system of Tehran province at 115 to receive urgent medical services, which is unprecedented in the past year.

The Public Relations Manager of Tehran Emergency Services continued, stating that out of this number of calls, 4,000 missions were assigned to emergency bases throughout the province, and service was provided by operational experts of this organization.

He added that in 7,043 calls, necessary consultations were provided to the callers by the nurses of the Communications and Operations Control Center of this organization.

Mahrokht concluded by saying that Tehran province, with more than 25% of the country’s total missions, has the highest volume of calls and missions in the entire country.
