Entry of passengers and tourists to the Miankaleh Wildlife Refuge on Nature Day has been prohibited.

According to the Mazandaran Environmental Department, due to the simultaneous occurrence of Nature Day, Thirteen Bedar, and the anniversary of the death of the first Imam of Shiites, the entry of passengers and tourists to the Miankaleh Wildlife Refuge is prohibited.

Miankaleh Lagoon is considered one of the most important wildlife habitats and a habitat for endangered species and migratory waterbirds.
