Etemad's Address to Raisi: It's Strange That He Claims to Have Fulfilled His Promises

Etemad’s letter to Raisi: It’s strange that he claims he has fulfilled his promises.

Abbas Abdi wrote in Etemad newspaper that, in general, the promises made by Mr. Raisi had several flaws and shortcomings, and this was not hidden from anyone. Therefore, from the very beginning, it was clear that these promises were not achievable.

Now, no one is surprised that they haven’t been fulfilled, and it would have been natural if they had. If it had been otherwise, we should have been surprised. So, why insist on criticizing this situation?

The main goal is for government officials to realize that their approach to the economy, the country’s resources, and their own capabilities has not been scientific and correct, and it still isn’t. They need to at least correct this approach at this stage.

But instead of accepting this reality, the government continues to look for excuses and justifications for why its promises weren’t fulfilled. Worse still, it tries to prove the false claim that we have fulfilled our promises.
