Exchange of Iranian and Belgian Prisoners

Exchange of Prisoners between Iran and Belgium

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, in a meeting with his Belgian counterpart, said that we are ready to solve the problem related to the prisoners of the two countries within the framework of the previous agreement.

Amir-Abdollahian also emphasized that bilateral relations and issues should not be influenced by the wrong assessments of some European parties regarding recent unrest in Iran.

The Belgian Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction with this meeting and dialogue, which takes place in the continuation of various talks between the two sides, and stated that my point of view is also that despite different perspectives on some issues, we should maintain the channels of dialogue.
