Expressing concern about the visual condition of Tomaj Salehi

Younri, a representative of the German Parliament who has taken political responsibility for Tomaj Salehi, expressed strong concern about the health condition of this prisoner in a series of tweets.

This member of the Bundestag emphasized that nothing has changed since his last update on Tomaj Salehi, and wrote, ‘You know better than me how difficult it is to get reliable news out of prison.’

According to Younri, Tomaj Salehi’s injuries, especially in his left eye, are still serious but he has not become blind.

Younri considered the possibility of Tomaj Salehi becoming blind as one of the biggest concerns regarding this prisoner and emphasized that this is why we are currently fighting for his right to treatment.

Tomaj Salehi, a rap singer from Shahin Shahr, Isfahan, published numerous messages in support of the nationwide anti-government protests in Iran.

He was arrested on the eighth day of Aban month in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.
