I hope the farmers take the path of reform again without us

I hope the reformist politicians continue on the path of reform without us.

Hashemollah Falahatpisheh was disqualified for running in the twelfth parliamentary elections.

Hashemollah Falahatpisheh, the former head of the National Security Commission, commented on his disqualification by the Guardian Council.

I am glad that even in my protest, I stayed true to my principles. I believe that if the country had paid attention to my warnings, extremists wouldn’t have brought the nation to the brink. Everything I said and expressed was in line with the country’s interests and my concern for the people.

Unfortunately, those warnings were not heeded, and I paid the price for it. However, I hope that the country will once again take the path of reform without us.
