Fars News Agency reported that Farouk Ismail Zahi, the son of Mullah Abdulhamid, was arrested on charges of carrying a weapon.
Farouk Ismail Zahi, the son of Mullah Abdulhamid, was detained for carrying an unauthorized firearm at a police checkpoint in Zahedan-Khash and has been released on bail.
Farouk Ismail Zahi was one of the participants in Mullah Abdulhamid’s caravan heading towards the flood-affected areas of Dashtiaran and was stopped at the police checkpoint in Zahedan-Khash for a few hours.
After necessary investigations, the issue concerning Abdulhamid and his caravan traveling towards the Dashtiaran area was resolved.
